Earlier this year Dougie Maclean visited the workshop to have some work done on his Cocobol/Adi MKII Tirga Beag and we also finalised his order for a new Tenor Guitar that we'd been talking about.
At the beginning of October, just before he jetted off to Canada I delivered it to him up in Perthshire. I'm pleased to say he was delighted and we had a great afternoon discussing its potential with Jamie his son and right hand recording man.
This is the second Tenor Guitar I have made and this varies massively from the first with lots of developments. I'm happy to be releasing this as a model in my range now.
Dougie's Tenor is made from reclaimed Brazilian Mahogany and Adirondack Spruce. It has an Amazonian Rosewood Bevel and Headstock plate with matching back graft.
Thank you Dougie for commissioning this guitar, an absolute pleasure working with you as always!
